Sugarbabes opens its doors to models interested in working in the UK market. We receive over 40 new applications per day so to help you with your application please read the following frequently asked questions.
How do I submit myself to Sugarbabes?
There are two ways to submit a model to the agency:
Regular Mail or by emailing us using the email address above.
How do I send my pictures?
We request that models send at least one (1) clear full face head shot and one (1) clear full-length body shot. It is suggested that you wear a bikini or lingerie set in the body shot. The most important thing is that we see a natural you. No make up is needed. You can send a composite, if you have them, but still send the face and body polariods. Don't send your portfolio!
Do I need professional pictures for you to view?
Absolutely not! If you have professional pictures they can help, but we like to see the polaroids and snap shots because they are more natural. Have a friend or family member take them of you. Color photography is preferred.
What should I include with my photos?
We need your name; measurements (including height, age, bust, chest, hips, waist, shoe size, hair colour, eye colour) and a contact phone number, as well as an address. Also list any special skills you may have.
What if I have an agency?
Many different models from many different agencies around the globe are represented by Sugarbabes. It is customary to have them contact us. If you have a "mother agency" they must contact us for you to be placed here.
Will you return my photos and we should I expect a response?
We are unable to return submissions to you, so if needed make a laser copy of important originals. If we are interested we will contact you.
What types of models do you represent? Are there any requirements of the models?
At Sugarbabes, we represent models who have the ability to become a hard working professional model this means you need good skin - hair and body. Height from 5ft 2 and upwards and we take models from size 8 to size 12 (these are the usual attributes) along with any ethnicity. Our lifestyle/commercial boards represent female models. Check out or models in the models section to get an idea of the kind of models we represent. If you feel you could join them contact us.
What if Sugarbabes is not interested?
Don't lose hope! We are limited by what looks work for our market. Your look or type might not work for our agency at this particular time. We encourage you to resubmit after 6 months. If you are seriously interested in modeling, with hard work and persistence you can find success.

What it takes to be a model
To be successful it is hard work but it can be immensely rewarding both financially and through job satisfaction. It is a competitive industry, however good you look success can only be achieved with dedication, professional attitude, a good agent and a little bit of luck!
An aspiring model should have clear skin, healthy hair, straight teeth and a toned and well proportioned body. At the same time, a model has to have the following things:
Ambition. A model goes after her goals. You won't become a model by sitting at home and waiting for agents to come to you!
- Confidence. Clients are looking for someone who is self-assured and whom they think can sell their product. A model must be able to sell herself before she can sell a product. It is also important to be able to handle the rejection that every model must face. No model could meet the expectations of every possible client.

Independence. Because models must sometimes travel away from their friends and family for a job, or move to a big city to pursue a full time career, it is important to have a great deal of independence. You must be comfortable being by yourself for long periods of time.
- Organization. A model must be organized in order to keep track of the different dates, times and locations of appointments so that she can show up at appointments and go-sees on time.

Investment. To succeed you will need to invest in your career, this will include portfolio shoots for your book, underwear and shoes.

Stamina. A model is sometimes on her feet all day in the freezing cold or the hot sun. She must be healthy and in shape to be able to work all day and still look good. Eating healthy, going for walks/jogs and working out at a gym three times a week is a must. You are paid for your looks so you must keep your body looking its best. You are employed on how good you looked in your last shoot.
